The Faculty of Economics and Management is part of the Tajik National University and plays a significant role in training highly qualified personnel for the country’s economic sectors.
The Faculty of Economics and Management was established in 1954 and is considered one of the largest faculties of the Tajik National University.
The Faculty of Economics and Management was established within the Faculty of Law of the V.I. Lenin Tajik State National University and began its operations as an independent division in August 1954. The core of the faculty was the Department of Economic Theory, which at that time consisted of eight professors and instructors.
The Faculty of Economics and Management has been a dynamically developing faculty of the university since 1954. The faculty combines the best traditions of economic education and innovative management approaches to train qualified economists and managers for the rapidly developing sectors of the country’s economy. Since 2008, the faculty has operated a testing center equipped with modern computer technology. Students of the faculty actively participate in all university events and are winners of national and international competitions. Graduates of the faculty successfully find employment in research institutions and domestic and international companies.
